Impact-resistant Lenses
High-index Lenses
This hi-tech plastic lens is designed for people with stronger prescriptions. Vision can be corrected with less material, making the lens much thinner, lighter, and more comfortable for long-term wear.
Coatings: Premium Anti Reflective Coating
Premium AR has advanced to the point where the AR layer itself is virtually colorless. This means that it will not only diminish reflections on your lens, but you'll also eliminate those greenish light flares that can be present on Standard AR coatings.
Features our premium multi-layer Anti-Reflective (AR) coating with superior scratch resistance and an easy clean stain resistant top coating that helps keep the lenses clean longer and enhances durability, giving the lens additional protection from dust, dirt and grime, water spots, paint splatter and finger prints.
An anti-reflection coating (AR coating) is a dielectric thin-film coating applied to an optical surface in order to reduce the reflectance (also often called reflectivity) of that surface due to Fresnel reflections – at least in a certain wavelength range.
Anti-reflective coating, often referred to as AR, or non-glare, is a coating that is applied to the surface of a lens. The purpose of this anti-reflective coating is to reduce the amount of glare that reflects off your lenses.
Blue Light Filters:
Blue light filter lenses are designed to filter out blue the high-energy blue light frequencies from the visible light spectrum. LUMES lenses are specially engineered to filter some of the highest energy wavelengths of visible light (400-440 nm).
Blue light is all around us. It comes primarily from the sun and it's what makes the sky look blue. Artificial blue light is also emitted by devices like computers, smartphones, flat-screen televisions LED lights, and energy-efficient light bulbs.
